Buying view: It focuses on collecting and displaying product reviews, keeping purchase-decision evidence close to the product page rather than in a generic survey tool. Review requests, incentives, moderation, syndicated content, and displayed claims all require policy control; do not publish or suppress reviews outside the store’s documented review policy.
Judge.me product reviews: features and workflows
Judge.me combines product-review requests, submitted feedback, publication controls and storefront display. Merchants can reuse the same review records through configured sharing and syndication, while customers retain the choice of whether to respond to an invitation.
Product reviews for Shopify stores
Shopify stores need to collect, manage, and display product reviews and social proof inside a repeatable post-purchase workflow.
How Judge.me collects and displays reviews
The merchant sets request timing, manages submitted reviews and chooses how published content appears in storefront widgets. Configured sharing and syndication can reuse eligible reviews in other supported destinations.
Judge.me sends review requests according to the merchant’s order and timing settings. Submitted reviews then follow the publication configuration: automatic publication, manual moderation as Hidden, or criteria-based moderation where unmatched reviews enter Pending. Published reviews become available through the configured storefront review display.
Hidden and Pending are different states. Untouched Pending reviews publish after 14 days; Hidden reviews do not follow that timer. Hiding needs an appropriate recorded reason and affects storefront counts. Reviews synced from Shop are automatically published and cannot be hidden individually; this diagram covers the ordinary merchant-collected route.
Judge.me review management features
The Judge.me capabilities below cover review collection, product-page display, review operations and related tasks.
Review collection
Merchants configure review-request timing for eligible orders and can follow up with reminders. Customers submit text, photos or video through the review form, creating records for the merchant’s review-management workflow.
Product-page display
Review Widget, Preview Badge, and other supported storefront placements show approved ratings, written feedback, photos, and videos close to the point of purchase. Merchants control layout and publishing settings so the evidence appears on the relevant product or store surface.
Review operations
The reviews dashboard lets staff search, filter, reply to, curate, publish, hide, and organize submitted reviews. Verification and moderation controls help the team distinguish order-linked evidence and decide what appears publicly without deleting the underlying review record.
Social proof
Approved reviews can be reused in widgets and supported sharing or marketing surfaces to show prospective shoppers how previous customers experienced a product. The merchant chooses the evidence and placement; the feature does not turn every submitted comment into an automatic endorsement.
Review sharing and syndication
Merchants can share eligible reviews through supported marketing destinations and synchronize reviews between configured stores or product groups. The chosen destination and its eligibility rules determine where each review can appear.

Judge.me competitor workflow and pricing comparison
Judge.me collects and displays product reviews. The comparison below focuses on how competing review tools collect useful detail, present customer content, and distribute it across sales channels.
| Tool | Workflow difference | Official public price reference |
|---|---|---|
| Yotpo Reviews AI | Yotpo Reviews extends review collection into a broader publishing operation: the team collects customer feedback, manages it, and distributes eligible reviews to supported shopping channels and retail partners. Judge.me also collects photo and video reviews and shares reviews with external channels. The useful distinction is the destination network and review-management requirements, especially for a brand that sells through several retailers, rather than whether either tool can display stars. | Free — $0; up to 50 monthly ordersStarter — From $15/monthPro — From $119/monthPremium — Contact salesEnterprise — Contact salesYotpo Reviews AI pricing ↗ |
| Stamped | Stamped combines purchase-based review requests with email forms and feedback analysis. The team can then identify recurring themes or add a separate Stamped Loyalty program for points and rewards. Judge.me also automates collection and offers review incentives. Stamped is worth comparing when the work extends from publishing reviews to analyzing customer feedback and running a loyalty program; Loyalty is a separate product, not an assumed part of Reviews. | Reviews — From $199/monthEnterprise — Custom quoteStamped pricing ↗ |
| Okendo | Okendo puts structured feedback at the center of review collection. A beauty or clothing brand can collect details such as skin type, size, fit, or durability, then let shoppers find reviews relevant to them. Judge.me covers the core collection and display workflow too. Okendo is worth comparing when operators need customer and product attributes to explain who a product suits, alongside optional quiz or loyalty products from the same vendor. | Free — $0; up to 50 monthly ordersEssential — $19/month or $204/yearGrowth — $119/month or $1,308/yearPower — $299/month or $3,288/yearScale — Custom quoteOkendo pricing ↗ |
| Loox | Loox builds its workflow around visual customer content: request a review after purchase, encourage a photo or video, then place that content in store widgets and connect satisfied customers to a referral offer. Judge.me also supports photos, videos, and referrals. The comparison is therefore about how prominently visual reviews feature in the shopping experience and how operators manage their display, not exclusive access to those features. | Beginner — $0/monthConvert — From $49.99/monthUnlimited — $299.99/monthLoox pricing ↗ |
| PowerReviews | PowerReviews adds a brand-to-retailer review workflow. A brand collects reviews and distributes them to matching products on supported retail sites; a retailer can also receive reviews from participating brands. Judge.me is a more direct comparison for installing collection and display tools in an individual store. PowerReviews becomes relevant when the same product is sold by several retail partners and the team needs to manage where its reviews appear. | Ratings, Reviews and UGC platform — Custom quotePowerReviews pricing ↗ |
Is Judge.me right for your team?
Choosing Judge.me depends on the workflow you need, the purchasing scope and how the alternatives below fit your requirements.
When to choose Judge.me for product reviews
Judge.me suits Shopify merchants that need product-review requests, moderation and display at a predictable subscription price. Its fit depends on whether the store needs review collection more than a wider loyalty or customer-retention suite. Compare the intended plan's request, widget and support terms.
Judge.me vs Loox and broader retention suites
Loox is a closer comparison when photo and video reviews or referrals drive the product-page design. Okendo, Yotpo and Stamped deserve a combined-cost comparison when loyalty, quizzes or other retention work is also in scope. PowerReviews serves larger brands and retail-review programs; it is a different purchasing scale.
Judge.me buying checklist: review migration and store costs
A low entry price does not establish the cost of running a review program across stores. Confirm how existing reviews, photos and replies move, and whether order volume, syndication, API access or additional stores change the bill. Test the actual review request and publishing workflow before replacing an existing app.
